COOPER was picked up as a stray on December 18th and the shelter tried their best to find his owner. . . no one has claimed him. He is a BEAUTIFUL 1 yr old pup who by all appearances hasn't had the best start in life. He's EXTREMLEY skinny and with little muscle mass which leads me to believe he's spent most of his puppyhood severely confined with little ablility to exercise. (crated??) He's still a puppy and while he's listed as a year of age, he could be younger. He's a VERY nice boy and very adoptable. We didn't test him with other dogs today, but the shelter employee said he shows no agressiveness what so ever toward the other dogs in the shelter.
The shelter went ahead and gave him his parvp/combo vaccination, bordatella and wormed him today while I was there. THE SHELTERS' PETFINDER SITE IS DOWN SO HE'S NOT ON THEIR SITE! IF anyone can help COOPER please call the shelter

I WILL BE GLAD TO DO THE LOCAL LEG WORK TO PICK HIM UP GET HIM TO THE VETS AND OFFER A WEEKS BOARDING FOR HIM AT THE KENNELS IN PRINCETON WV.

HE'S A REALLY SWEET SWEET DOG.... Raleigh is a gassing shelter and almost as bad is his potential for a good home around here is limited. . . other than going to some of the local BYBs.

WOW... for real? What state are you in? Yeah, I could definately see a foster failure in caring for him....he's got such a cute puppy face and puppy ways. It's probably just as well they didnt' find his owner as his noticable lack of muscle mass would have to be contributated to LONG term confinement by his owner. But he is now SO skinny and has big feet he still needs to grow into.
While I don't normally pull from the shelter without rescue committment I want SO bad to get this youngster out of there before the bybs get him, like tomorrow!!!... young, intact and beautiful and $35, , ,
