Another divorce....Another "drop off" at a HIGH KILL SHELTER!!!!


So.... let's see now.....


They had the time to argue about who gets the 12 year old crappy TV....or the Walmart "China" with mismatched colors.....and probably are still arguing about basic "crap" they�accumulated in their sad life together...��Yet they DID come up with one thing they can agree upon....they made a�decision on things that matter�little to them.�


The 12 year old German Shepherd and the 10 year old mixed breed dog they had for so many years....
Well... they had their daughter drop them off at the local county KILL shelter! They could not even bother to do it themselves!�


Even though they were told that once you give a dog or cat over to the shelter it can be put down ASAP... they cared not. They cared more about the TV that's now probably worth about 50 cents on the open market!


While I'm sorry about their divorce...I can not even THINK of how someone can have a dog for nearly�TWELVE YEARS and have it dropped off to be MURDERED at a KILL SHELTER!!!!

I met both of these beautiful dogs..(they are ADOPTABLE AND SWEET)...and I took these bad pictures (sorry..was from my Blackberry BC even though they have cameras there...they had better things to do then post them online)!


BERLIN is a PB German Shepherd who is 12!~ His life long girlfriend is named JODI and is a mixed breed whatchamacallit dog! They are BOTH very friendly and confused beyond belief that they are now on DEATH ROW and have only DAYS left because of typical human�selfishness!


I'm calling on all rescues and adopters out there....these dogs are GOOD! They are BOTH "fixed" and will leave with all vaccines up to date if required. I BEG of you to take these two...my wish is that they get to live together...but there are only a few days left in their lives.�


EVERY THURSDAY is "execution" Day At Lumpkin County Animal Shelter!


Please HELP me find them a foster, boarding, or whatever it takes to get them out of there in the next two days! (we have until 1pm Thursday)!

That is so sad! I don't understand how people can do this. When I got divorced 8 years ago, I made sure I was awarded custody of my son and my dog. Forget the rest of the material crap, left it all. I wanted my boys. Just horrible.

Poor dogs. The GSD has that "Oh, crud, get me out of here" look. The seniors make such wonderful companions.

I wish there was something I could do. Idaho is soooo far away.

That would be a really long ride. Although it seems that lately there have been a few super long transports (mostly of Bassets, go figure) coming through from Iowa and going to Washington state.

I have a few extra dollars laying around, which I would be happy to donate towards getting this guy into a rescue more local to him.

Oh good lord...look at that second picture....How much does it look like that even though he's an older gentleman, he knows they are an (really big) trouble, and is trying to protect his little 'girlfriend' right to the end?

I've been reading these boards daily a few months now, this post bothered me more than most..count me in for a donation too, and/or anything else I can do from the great snowy Northeast...
