Zoe- our first Rescue
Adopted: August 16, 2009 from Good Shepherd Rescue, Lancaster TX.
Rescue took her to the Vet on 8/12, to get health checked and spayed. She weighed 36 lbs. We picked her up from the Rescue 8/16. On Aug. 17th we took her to our Vet to get her checked again, she weighed 42 lbs.  for weight gain!Took her back at the Vet's office yesterday to get her stitches removed..and......drumroll please... she weighed 50.3 lbs.!!!   This is just after 10 days with us!! I guess, BARF is doing it's job! She still have some ticks, I'm having to vacuum everyday as the dead ticks were just falling off of her, ticks are gross! Zeus never got ticks nor fleas in 9 years we had him.Her 3rd day with us.. she's trying her best to make friends with Rascal. She sure loves the baby, she's always kissing him.     She is doing great, she'll see the Vet again in 2 weeks for another check up. We'll do some test as well for worms (tested positive for hookworms etc). She is becoming more and more confident everyday. She stop jumping up on the kitchen counter looking for food, she hasn't done this since Friday. Her manners are getting better, she no longer jumps on people, she's still a little mouthy though. As soon her ticks are gone, she's going swimming everyday!
