This family was pulled on July 29th with help from several huge hearted people:
Here is Livvy and her family (5 pups - 3 girls and 2 boys) in the shelter (owner surrenders): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() They were taken immediately to the vets from shelter and all were loaded with several types of parasites and have been treated. Of course, we will re-treat and fecal some more Mom is underweight, only weighed 48lbs., can't wait to have her weighed again up here, but she is HW negative! All were given nice warm baths at the vets and then went to their foster home to be "quarantined" for two weeks. I think Livvy's temp foster mom and dad have been feeding her well, I do know she has been eating salmon to help add some weight - "good fat" Mom was named Livvy by her special angel. ![]() We took the smallest pup back to the vet last Thursday because her foster mom was worried she was a bit tired acting, she was eating and drinking well, (vet agreed no signs of parvo ), a CBC/Chem panel came back that all levels were in normal range, with the exception on iron - she was anemic. So, right on supps and she is doing well.Livvy has clearly had a very hard life, she is learning that the humans in her life now are loving, she is not fear aggressive, just skittish, but she has made strides in the last two weeks! Please keep them in your thoughts as they transport on Saturday and Sunday. They will be on a trusted/experienced car to car transport and overnighting with BDBH's wonderful overnighters in OH. It will just be them on transport. We are doing our best to lessen stress of transport on this family, as they are still fragile. Livvy will be fostering on her own for some TLC, although she and pups have already been separated, except for some play time, and pups will stay together for 2 more weeks and then move to other fosters for socialization and neuters/spays. Here are some new pictures of Livvy and her pups taken earlier this week. Is she not beautiful?!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

She's lovely. Looks so much better than the first pictures where I was like OH NO that skinny girl had a litter of 5?
What kind of heartless p***k dumps a lactating momma and her 5 babies at a shelter? Those poor babies, they look pure to me or a high mix.

I swear leave it up to Darcy to find those incredible females. First Kyah and now the lovely Livvy. She looks so so much better already, so looked so defeated in the shelter pics, now her head is up and she is looking forward to a new life.
Thank you for everyone that was/is involved in this families new lease on life. Val |

So glad their story had a happy ending. Thank you Darcy and BGBH for helping this family.
