Hi all,
Just wanted to give an update on Zuni the dog I posted about almost 2 months ago that the veterinary group I was with rescued while doing volunteer work in New Mexico. He ended up having three surgeries at Animal Humane - the first was to fix his diaphragmatic hernia (he had two large lacerations and almost all of his intestines were in his chest), the second was a few days later to fix a 7 foot intussusception (when the intestines telescope on in other, kind of like the antenna on a radio), and the third to remove a large hematoma from his shoulder. He survived all of that, recovered, and has been adopted out to a family in the Albuquerque area. There was apparently a segment on him and Animal Humane on one of the Albuquerque TV news stations last week or so. Just thought everyone would like to know
