I just got a new camera today and was playing around with the uncooperative dogs.
I thought I would post a few "Where are they now Pics", and how they came to me. First Up...Sheba- we rescued Sheba from the Montgomery Co. SPCA in Perkiomonville, PA, July 2006. Our GSD of 12 years, STORM had just passed away from cancer 3 days earlier. WE couldn't take it without a dog. I saw Sheba and Shep posted, and off I went, with the intent of getting both of them, brother and sister, at 7 months old. By the time my daughter and I drove the 5 hours from Pittsburgh to the shelter, he was gone, but Sheba was there. SHEBA [img] [/img] [img] [/img] Sheba wasn't cooperating with picture taking today. Next came Bandit. Bandit was rescued from the Columbiana County Dog Pound in Lisbon, OH, in June 2007 I saw a posting on craigslist for GSD puppies. We drove over that afternoon, and instantly fell in love with the pups. They turned out to be GSD/Lab mix but it didn't matter. WE ended up taking the 4 males home, and found them all loving homes. They all looked alike at the time. Today Bandit is the only one that kept his Shepherd looks BANDIT [img] [/img] ![]() We all know how addicting these dogs are, and sometimes the time we spend on these sites are dangerous. I saw Reiken posted on the Animal Rescue League of Pittsburgh site. we took a ride over and found Reiken to be a very well trained CZECH bi-color of 4 years old. He was so big, but so small, and gentle. We put in an application, and brough Sheba and Bandit to meet him, and everything went great. REIKEN came home that night in January 2008. REIKEN ![]() ![]() Reiken and Bandit are best buddies and spend hours playing and tearing up the freshly planted grass ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sheba and Reiken are still arguing for dominance when I am not around so they stay apart when I am not home. They are great part of the family, and listen very well. We are so happy we were able to do our part in saving our beautiful dogs lives. Some day we will break down and get another one.

Beautiful dogs, the males get along but one male and female don't hmmmm! I am trying to understand and read Bo's behavior with my girls but he is only 10 weeks but he is kinda dominating.
