Some of you read about our rescued female "Lita" in the welcome area. We've had her 1 month now and the improvement is remarkable. She is doing so well with exercise and love (and a little dicipiline). I truly believe that's all they need. She has quit chewing on herself and is even taking naps!
She loves her toys and has to have them all in her lair, but she is learning to share with the other dog. She has even come to realize she doesn't need a toy 100% of the time.. 95% is all! I'll post a couple photos in the pictures forum.

That is wonderful! It's such a nice feeling when they finally realize that they are safe and can relax. I remember the first time, right after we adopted her, when Heidi laid down on her pad and gave a big, long sigh. It was such a nice thing to see and it made us feel really good.
Thanks for rescuing this sweetie!
