Recently found lost GSD... Need Help!

I so appreciate all your wonderful comments. We're going to the vet today at three to get her completely checked out and vaccinated. But she's the sweetest thing ever, and definitely motivated by food, so we'll use that to get her trained as best we can. I'm not getting too attached yet, as there's always that fear that the owner may come looking for her, hoping they won't though because I would love to keep her! Here's a picture for those of you that were asking...

Hopefully that worked. That's right after we found her before we moved her to the backyard. We were keeping her in the front hoping someone would drive be and recognize her! Thanks for all your encouragement!

Bless you for taking her in! I hope that it works out and that you get to keep her. From your picture she's quite the beauty, she doesn't look in to bad of shape, hopefully she will check out fine at the vets.

Thank you guys so much for all your encouragement, we just got her back from the vet. We got her vaccinated because we had no clue of her prior vaccination history. They gave her the clean bill of health. They estimated her to be about 5 and told me she could stand to lose around 10-12lbs. She's a big lady weighing in at 102! We'll hold on to her for a while and see if she gets claimed. Otherwise, does anyone know of GSD Rescues in Idaho? I live in a small town about 20 minutes west of Boise, Idaho. We are willing to keep her for a while (forever if the need arises) but wouldn't mind researching our options of GSD Rescues as well that'd be open to taking her! For the time being though, we've named her Roxy and are loving on her as best we can!
