I have followed the stories of various dogs at BDBH and the volunteers there are truly amazing. Regarding crate training and socialization, you may find that the foster owner actually has done a lot of training with a particular dog. Once you have a candidate dog you will find discussion with the foster immensely helpful and really part of your final decision about a dog. Of course the proof of the pudding is in the eating-so how you and your candidate feel about each other is pivotal.
I'm sure BDBH is the right place to look (and no, I did not adopt from them, but maybe sometime.....) Mary Jane |

Okay, I am new on here today, and BDBH is right down the street from me at the pet store sometimes. So close to some of you, yet so far away. I look forward to speaking with everyone on here.
