Default bone fillers

hey does anyone have like a homemade receipe for filling bones aside from peanut butter. I want to make some to fill out in my puppy's bone, but I want something that will be hard so it will be hard for him to get. Peanut butter is too soft, he can get it in like 3 min

What about stuffing it with a hard cheese, like cheddar?

I know someone who soaks their dogs kibble until its soft, then stuffs the bone, then freezes the whole thing. I haven't had the opportunity to try it myself yet, but its an idea.

I just made the frosty paws above and put it in their kongs stuffed with dog bisciuts and froze it over night. Kept them busy busy!

Sweet potatoes smooshed in and then frozen works, too. If you have something you want to put in there (like baby food for example) you can add instant potato flakes to make the consistency better for stuffing.
