For Christmas, I'm going to go crazy making dehydrated doggie treats.
I've read various ways to treat fruit........the most "natural" I feel is a honey/water dip. Is honey good for the puppers? Is a subsitute for that (since it's going to be fruit mixed with all kinds of other nasty things) just putting a little NATURAL honey in with the rest of the processed goo?

Juss,
Honey has electrolytes and is a great natural source for dogs. When I have a dog with kennel cough I use a little honey and melted butter for them to lap up. It helps to coat their throat and I like it better than actual cough syrup. Let me know how they turn out.
