Default 8 Week old lays around

I've had the puppy for about 4 days. He has found his favorite place to lay and he seems to stay there often.

He will get up and play with the kids and at times he loves outside but sometimes he wants to just lay in the grass. Is this normal?

He's still a young baby who needs quite a bit of rest. As long as he is eating, drinking and having normal stool (no diarrhea) then he is probably just fine. Any pics???

Edit: Has he gone for a check up yet?

Look at soft little puppy fur! So cute! When they are sleeping...they are growing. He will grow so fast right before your eyes!
