hit 7 months, what a turn around!

Anyone who remembers my posts about my dog biting and not listening, I just wanted to update you all. My gsd is now 7 months old and she is now finally showing so much improvement! She is showing me everything I taught her. She is no longer biting and when she does, its a soft playful bite. No longer breaks the skin. She is now out of the crate almost the whole time im home (except for when I cant watch her of course). I guess it was just a stage she just had to get through. All that work training her was well worth it. We went through so much with her, but things are really starting to turn around! I was starting to think she had a neurological problem. Engagement is definitely the key.

So wonderful to hear how it's all working out so well!

Good for you for keeping at it and showing the patience needed. Love how engagement is working out in the end!

Great to hear!!! Ours just turned 7 months too and we are also seeing the same progress. Some other issues though - but I guess that's all part of the fun of having a puppy :).

:toasting: DDog is 7 months old today. He was lying on his back, wagging his tail with a soft look in his eyes, and I could scratch his belly without him attempting to bite. I melted  He turned into a GSD!

The effort is well worth the results....good for you for hanging in there...and will just keep getting better as you continue to work with her.
