Put puppy in cage this morning and heard him making weird sounds and he looked like he was about to throw up so I take him out the crate and put him on a puppy pad and he pukes up bright yellow vomit... then a couple other times this morning but not as much of it. Anyone know what could've caused this??
Whatever works for you. What are you feeding your dog? Kibble digests at a slower rate than the raw. I feed raw in the morning/afternoon, then he gets kibble at night to hold him over. He get's his last kibble snack at 9 or 10pm, but that's what worked for me.
Eiros...ditto. I give a small snack at 9-10 at night, and a tablespoon of yogurt with both morning and evening meals...the yellow bile is rarely a problem now. Not sure of the yogurt does anything, but the night snack was definitely recommended by the vet.
My girl does the same if she goes more than 12 hours without eating. She used to need feed ever eight hours so I guess we're making progress.
