Question 3 1/2 month WGS and crating

We have had Lacy since she was 8 wks old and myself and my husband have been home with her and taking her to work since we got her. Things are changing with my husband going back to work and I won't be able to take her with me anymore. We know she has bad separation anxiety even when we try to leave her in the truck for a shopping trip. What would be the best way to start her getting used to the crate? She sleeps on the floor next to our bed at night and does just fine. She wakes me up only once to go out. We also have a 8lb. Chihuahua, Bella, that Lacy is quite rough with yet, so leaving her out with Bella is not an option.

I'd start feeding her in the crate (door open).

Will the crate fit beside your bed so you can put her in at night?

Also some great games you can teach in Crate Games
