Anyone else have a puppy that gets so worked up when you go to shower that it howls the whole time and poops itself?

No mine just kicks down the bathroom door and sticks his head thru the curtain.

Lisl lays on the throw rug next to the tub.

She knows who the man behind the curtain is.

Do you normally let the puppy have access to the room when you're in there? I draw the line at that, lol. I don't need an audience. My pup still lies down outside the door waiting for me, at over 2 years old. I'm guessing that he's used to being in there with you.

lol I don't let mine in there with me, I don't need an audience either. She just gets sooooo worked up over me showering... honestly I wonder if its because she doesn't like the tub...

If my dog is fast enough he gets in the bathroom before I shut the door then he just lays on the rug, but if not he just lays outside the door and waits for me to get out. Occasionally I will hear him trying to push the door or hit the handle or scratch it. But usually he just patiently waits at the door.

My female used to sit outside the door and cry the WHOLE time (never went to the bathroom though). She eventually grew out of it. I think it's just the puppy separation anxiety. GSDs want to be with you ALL the time ! :)

Lola usually lays on the rug, occasionally I'll feel something furry and look down to see part of her head sticking through trying to lick my toes.

Rusty use to cry when I got in the shower when he was a pup. I don't know, someone told him German Shepherd mommies disappear when they shower. lol

I would stick my head out & say something quickly to calm him. He eventually stopped & started to lay quietly on the rug.

Does your pup poop all the time in this situation or did it just happen one time?

crate your pup when you can't watch him. start house training
your pup. i taught my dog the bathroom is off limits and that means
no sticking his head inside the door.
