Default the bitting!

Luna is 3 months today anyways she's bitting me like crazy! I'v tried putting all her attention to her toys and got her the nylabones and it works for like 3 minutes and then she's back to bitting me . when she acts like this I go into a different room but she freaks out when I come out it's worse !

what else can I do to stop her from bitting me or other ppl ? I know she's a puppy but her bitting hurts!

Is she getting plenty of exercise to expend that puppy energy? Does she like playing tug? My pup is about 3 months and still biting but it's getting better. Mark with your "no" word, redirect to a toy, and repeat repeat repeat.

she loves tug but sometimes she gets to the point that she wants to bite and not really play .. and I forgot to mention she hasn't really left the house and plays in the garage and uses the bathroom out back since she hasn't had her 2nd set of shots don't want her to catch anything bad like my old pup who got parvo .. but she gets her 2nd set next week and ill work her out !!

Good thing you are keeping her safe! Don't forget mental exercise. Have you been working on training? I'm looking into getting Rommel a treat puzzle to work on.

My hands are mauled. Deer antlers work great for keeping my boy busy

What was your first thought when you realized that cute little ball of fur you brought home was an alligator with piraņa teeth?

Chicago is almost at 6 months and still sometimes bites when he is excited! He didn't completely "get" bite inhibition until only the past few weeks when he's realised that when he bites, he loses my attention. Play a fun game and then walk away from your pup when he bites: leave the room silently with no eye contact/verbal reprimand and he will soon get it's no fun by himself. Takes alotttt of patience and consistency!
