I have had puppy since Saturday. He was doing fine and now all of the sudden he is not eating. Made an appointment with vet. Any ideas?

Did his food change from the breeders? mine had geardia when we got him and that kills appetite too so could be parasites. very common in puppies.

No, I kept with the same food. He was eating it. Today he I just not himself. He was playful this morning, but he hasn't eat more than a handful of food all day. He has had a couple bouts o loose stools today. I called the vet, appointment is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. I am new to GSD and not sure what could be wrong

I'm sorry to say I suspect Parvo. You want to take him to the vet ASAP. I wouldn't wait till tomorrow. The sooner he is treated the better chances of survival. Hopefully I'm wrong, but you never know.

Turns out the puppy ate too much snow. He is doing much better today. Very playful, eating great and no more diarrhea. Who knew? Thanks
