Embaresed - Hate to ask - Female Humping
 

After a bit of research, this appear to be a dominance thing. Emma has started to hump my and others legs from, time to time.:eek::blush::blush::blush: At first I was surprised (thought only males did this), but after reading a bit hear and elsewhere, I believe I need to say "No" and prevent this, re-direct to other play. Correct?

I have never had any other female dog I have owned do this - seems strange.:crazy:

Not necessarily dominance - it can be a calming thing. Try to note (or remember) when she's been doing it and see if there are any patterns. If she's excited and playing, it's overflow from that, if she's tense or stressed, it's calming, and if she just saunters up... ;) But I would just do like you said, redirect.
