I thought it would be interesting to compare our worst puppy experiences.
Dexter hasn't done anything bad yet, but my Lab destroyed an entire leather couch down to the frame when he was 8 months old. He never destroyed anything else before or after. What's the worst thing your puppy has ever done? |

Havoc ate the arm off a couch while I bathed. He never chewed before and he hasn't since. Felony destroyed my best friend's couch and I had to buy her a new one. After that, Felony had many invitations from people with shabby furniture. Tempest ate an electric blanket yesterday. It was not plugged in.
The couch that Havoc chewed is fixed with duct tape because I am a classy broad. |

My black lab cracker scratched a 5ft tall by 3 ft wide hole in the wall beside the front door. I was really mad about that one.

Another incident just sprung to mind my chow mixed with what I don't know but he was an absolute beast at 4 months got stuck under my antique claw foot tub and the firemen had to come and get him out and in getting him out there went my tub. My dog wasn't the brightest bulb in the bunch lol

Shepherd pups not much, a lamp cord, a couple shredded towels! But we used to have a spitz/mix, he hated being left in the house. I had put him in the garage to be out of bad weather and he peeled the bottom of the back door back like a can of sardines, chewed the door frame and the wall by the door! If you left him inside the house and left for 30 minutes, he'd pull curtains down! If it was really cold out, like 20 degrees or less, he was ok inside, but when it went back up to 32, he was the mad escape artist! He also made my back yard a moon surface! He dug craters, not holes! But we loved him, he was nearly fifteen when he went to the bridge! He was great with my shepherd pups! By the time we got shepherds he was 12 or so and had "outgrown" his quirks!
