Default Observation: For hyper active pups, too much drive? Here may be one fix:

My Black GSD working dog type, 12 weeks old, by observation goes hyperactive a few hours after being give kibble. This does NOT happen on the all raw diet of 30% organ meat and the rest muscle beef and chicken and bone..

I bought a small bag of Science Diet, and Royal Canin, and have given him a handful or two after a normal meal, like desert, about three times now in a week... EVERY time, a few hours later his is hyperactive, into everything, destructive, chewy, and I am guessing there are sugars or molassas or something in the kibble that affects his behaviour.

My Tip: If your dog is hyperactive, too much drive, go off the kibble and go raw.... See if it works. It will not work with all dogs, they are all different, but this is a little help for you if you are having a problem. It will not hurt to give it a try. I am not here to argue, this is just for you, and may help with some dogs and situations.

For me, puts me right off the kibble...

Kind regards from Australia, lone Ranger

I don't and probably would NEVER feed those kibbles. I feed BB Wilderness and I have a high energy dog but his kibble doesn't affect anything

On this little Island in the South of the Pacific, with less population than Southern California, those are the best kibbles I have seen available. Never even heard of your Wilderness brand.. Anyway, I notice a distinct hyperactive result, and thought it might help someone.
