Puppy breathing fast
I fed my puppy Jim (nearly 8 weeks old) and was playing with him..
And then he drank some water.. And then went to sleep and he is breathing very fast. Is this normal for puppies after exercise? Code:

Yes, normal. They breathe hard when they sleep at that age.

All dogs will breath fast after they exercise, the only problem I see is that you "played" with your puppy after you fed him. German Shepherds are prone to "bloating" and should not be exercised 1 hour before and at least 1 hour after they eat. Even we, humans don't like running or swimming "on a full stomach". Good luck with your adorable puppy!

Alright. No more exercising before and after eating. Didnt know that. And how much do you think I should feed him? I now feed him a little more than 2 hand full of Royal Canin Maxi Starter Puppy food and some milk to moisten it four times a day. Thank you.

At that age I fed three quarters of a cup four times a day. I would not moisten with milk. If you must use something, use yogurt.

And by cup.. How much do you mean?
