INTRO: We live in the Philippines. It is our first time to handle GSDs . Our first was a German Rott(deceased ) and 2 Shih Tzus( alive ) .
We decided to get them to guard the house and we really missed the presence of our Rott who passed away on November 26, 2012. Our male pup ( Bruno ) is a high energy dog . He is about 2months and a 2weeks old. Our female pup ( Jodie ) is a normal energy dog. She is about 2months and 1week. Bruno has been with us for 2weeks already, we still have problems with him and the 2 shih tzus because they weren't introduced properly. And for that reason , we decided to get another pup so Bruno has someone to play with. We bought Jodie. I introduced Jodie and Bruno outside our house. He never smelled Jodie's behind instead he smelled her head and body. After a few minutes , He tried to paly with Jodie by bitting and jumping on her. Jodie , who was stressed at the time because of the 2hour ride from the pick up place, got angry and grunted on him. Whats surprising is that, Bruno grunted back and started to bite her aggressively . I tried to " shhh " and tap him then separated them for a few meters . After that, he went towards her and jumped on her and started to play with her again. The same scenario happened . What's wrong with Bruno ? *** I will try to upload pics and videos of them playing *** |

IMO it would have been better to just get one dog for now, and then introduce another when he is a little older.
