I have trained berners and retrievers both I have seen the roll work so I was just curious. Ill search through out the forums and read up. Thanks for the help everyone

Shepherds are VERY different from Berners and goldens. I agree with the others, no alpha rolling.
Try redirecting the bite, wearing the pup out like Onyx said, etc.

your pup is 8 weeks, its just a baby! would you get aggressive with a human baby for bitting you too hard?
you just have to teach that bitting skin is not ok, but bitting toy's is fun.
