Thank you so much for your response you have no idea how much better I felt after I read it, because you just described my crazy ryker! It's always nice to know you're not alone. I hope all goes well for you and your puppy!!

Hes very vocal, and will growl/bark at you to chase him, but that's ignored also. He's doing pretty well but I'm a new shepherd owner so I want to know what you guys would say is agressive behavior. He only gets like this when he's over excited and needs to be run usually, I don't think he's a mean dog by any means. It's just that when he gets in this mind set he is very persistent (like most GSD's I have heard) hopefully this will clear things up a bit, but probably just made it more confusing haha
Thanks
Oh the puppy temper tantrums... I swear I could HEAR Echo crossing his arms like a two year old going "I will NOT." He would throw fits if corrected in public... people probably thought I was killing him. Smart little bugger. It does get better, as long as there are consistent boundaries!

I lost my GSD about 6 years ago. He was 13. Just got another puppy. OH how I forgot about the landsharkness!! Normal puppy. Mine is 10 weeks now and if it moves its fair game. Like someone else said, get a tug toy and replace hand with toy!

Have fun!!
