It's working for me....
Glad it's working! He is so cute, nice coloring!

We are currently in training and I am told that Stella requires strong leadership. I am being as strong as I can, shoulders back and firm with my voice. I am also trying to teach her to take food from my hand nicely because she grabs and the teeth sink into my palm.
How old is she? Love her cute little face! All of these GSDs are so darn cute! I can't stand it!!! They probably know it too and use it to their advantage and our punctured hands LOL!

This is what I have started doing and it seems to be working (or beginning to).

We had a landshark too, and I wondered if it would EVER stop.
we tried "ouch". didn't stop it.
pennies in a can - she would go after the can like it was a toy. Didn't startle her.
re-direct her - she would wait till you weren't looking and go for you again
squirt bottle - hard to have on you ALL the time

in short, we tried EVERYTHING the above posts suggested, and NOTHING worked.
Our trainer said she has a REAL high prey drive...guess who was the prey...
so he suggested a Dogtra e-collar. (y'all dont throw rocks at me,I know e-collars are controversial) Low stim ( like 19 out of a possible 120) at first and then up it if she didn't get the correction. She got up to a 40 once because she was biting my teenage son.
Took 2 weeks....problem solved. I didn't want to do an e-collar, but I'll be darned, it worked like a charm. Now if she mouths us it's real gentle!

At what age can one start using the e-collar? Just curious... I'm giving Rocco the opportunity to grow out of it (it has gotten slightly better).
BTW- I love your avatar pic. Your dog is beautiful!
