After reading everyone's post (with exception to the one with a calm puppy) I'm really nervous! Lol. Our pup is nippy, but he's gotten better... But I have a feeling it won't last. . . Since he's only 8 weeks or almost 8 weeks rather. We just keep replacing our hands with a toy. He's happy with the change, so for me... It's working.
I say he's gotten better because with my 1.5 yr old who he was biting every chance he could, he now just licks or nips his hands a couple of times, rather than a full blown munching. When he's overly excited he will try to pull his britches down with his biting though, but we divert his attention immediately. I think it has helped that Jeven, my son, yelps for real when bit. We try to yelp and walk away, but I don't think Tyde is falling for it... Which is why we mainly divert to a toy. So... This lasts how long?? LOL. I agree with who posted this forum has helped... And it's comforting to know I'm not alone. I was kind of thinking I just has an insane pup.
