Default Play fighting question, looking for advice

So our 9 week old boy Atlas loves to play with our female Boston Emma when I allow them to play together (I don't want him getting more attached to her instead of me). Most of their play is running and playing with toys but the past few days they have started play fighting. Atlas starts making all sorts of noise, teeth showing, getting on top of her. They act like its just a game but when they start up I seperate them because I worry if maybe its more? Maybe he is playing dominance? Should I be worried? Is this normal? Advice would be appreciated!

I had a similar question recently. Here is the link to the thread-perhaps some of the answers there can help you determine what is going on. Are my dogs playing or fighting?

Thank you so much for the link and response!! After watching those videos it looks like normal play. I'm just so worried about messing up this early in the game lol!

No problem. And I know what you mean-you just want to make sure than you are teaching them right and not doing something that will make them problematic later.
