My 7 month old boy ever since I brought him home at 8 weeks old, nurses on his stuffed animals and kneads his paws at the same time. Does anyone have a pup that does this same thing?

My older girl, Luka, "sucks" on her stuffed animals, but only the huge (sleeve-sized) ones. Now when I say that, she's laying down with her whole mouth on the toy in a big bite to the corners of her mouth. She grabs it with her front feet, and just bites down on it... chomp... chomp... chomp... never letting the toy out of her grip and holding it fast with her feet. She will do this for a long time without letting go. I don't know if it's a security thing, or if it's an approximation of a wolf's death grip on large prey, but that's exactly what it looks like! I will look for a picture.

Here's a picture of him doing it. It isn't the greatest picture though. |
