Well, she now LOVES the rain! She pees, poops, plays, digs, splashes in puddles and get's soaking wet and just loves it. Of course, the digging and splashing in mud puddles will be prohibited but she barks by the door and scratches at the knob when she has to go out. Success. I guess I just had to be patient because she suddenly got it and so did I...communication.
When she comes over to me to greet me she holds my hand in her mouth very gently BUT I am still having bad problems with her playnipping VERY hard. I think it stems from her biting on my older GSD who has such thick hair and a gentle disposition that he never seems to feel it much. He gets tired and then she transfers the same play tactics she uses on him with me...ouch! I have toys handy and stuff them in her mouth but she would much rather play with human skin. I tried high value toys and still, she prefers my hands or any part of my body available (if I hide my hands, she'll nip my side). Yelping does not work. I am hoping she will grow out of it since she is teething and is 4.5 months old now. She's wonderful otherwise!
