Default Outside running question

Hi all,
I take my girl to run around an empty tennis court after work every day for about an hour or so. We have to do this since we have no backyard. Sometimes anther dog joins us to play but sometimes it's just me there playing ball with her or something by myself.

My question is, it's not a grassy area just as it is, a tennis court. Is this not good for her to run around on? I want to make sure it's safe for her joints since this is the closest running space I have to my house (I don't have the car on the weekdays).

Not the best surface for their bones/joints. And keep an eye out on the pads on your dogs feet because I know I peeled off the bottoms of my dogs feet one time on a tennis court. Couldn't walk for day without pain

Where do you live (BTW, if you go up to your User CP and put your GENERAL location, it will show up under your user name to the left of each post, like my Poconos stuff) ? Someone else may have specific info to help. School yards and playgrounds after hours? Grass is better, specially if your dog is running.

Thanks I live in Brooklyn. Unfortunately there's not green within walking distance unless we go on the weekends.

Wow, thanks MaggieRoseLee,
Me and my dad have been taking her away for the entire weekend to a dog friendly spot, where we can hike and stay as an exclusively pet oriented place. Sounds like the poconos are perfect for that.

Also, she's going to turn 5 months in about 3 weeks. Is there a safe amount of hiking she can do?

Arg, sorry for not mentioning this in my earlier post. But since I'm here... can you suggest some pet friendly hotels/places to stay that are dog friendly and are within distance to dog beaches/hikes?

Hi,
I grew up in Brooklyn, and currently living in Staten Island.

Where in Brooklyn are you located?

Im in Midwood, Kings Highway more precisely. If you're familiar with the area, you might understand how frustrating it is to exercise her sometimes.
