Bought two frozen knuckle bones. What now?

Been trying to help my little 11wk old pup out from her chewing endeavors. And to help my sanity from all the biting. Read that these bones should help. Now they are raw and frozen. Do I keep them frozen, cook them?

I always feed mine directly out of the freezer. Stick a towel on the ground and let the pup go to town

I also give mine theres right from the freezer. It is less messy and keeps them busy longer:)

are those knuckle or femur bones?

They look like femur to me BUT just because OP mention "or cooked" NEVER COOK BONES :) ever. frozen and raw.. will last longer too.

Those are definitely femur bones. My dog has cracked her teeth on those. Some dogs just chew on them till they get the marrow out though.

LOL. I had a feeling these were wrong. Did not look anything like a "knuckle" I returned them and got a knuckle bone. Funny because I specifically asked for a knuckle and he let me buy femurs...heres the knuckle..its huge.

How long do you usually let them chew for? And is it like a meal? Do you refreeze it after she's done chewing?

I give knuckle bones frozen, after a few hours I wrap them in plastic and put them in the fridge for the next day. After three days I throw them away. Sometimes I forget about them and the dogs show up with a nasty smelling bone after several days. No one has ever gotten sick from it, just diarrhea from the marrow. That's why I give this in the morning so it is out of their system by night.
