Very little difference. When they are 2 months old I may crush the bones a bit in chicken and turkey while using ground for things like beef, lamb and pork. By the time they are 4-6 months they can handle a lot of the harder bones and definitely by 6 months. My 7 month old eats pork neck and all lamb/mutton parts (I don't feed the leg bones) easily.
