Smile Can I feed my puppies this?

They are 5 months old and on a raw diet which right now, is extremely expensive and my parents want to switch back to kibble.

At a farmer's market I saw mountain chain tripe and decided to buy a packet thinking that it could supplement my dogs' diet. I searched it up and couldn't find anything about it that deals with whether or not dogs could eat it. All there is online is how good green tripe is for your dogs which I know is, and don't know if I can feed them this tripe!

It doesn't have any labels as to if there are ingredients on it - I assume it is just fresh and frozen. It is white in color (search mountain chain tripe in google images for ref.) but I don't think it was bleached. Any thoughts?

I think if it's white it has been bleached and processed. That is not the same as 'green' tripe which has not been bleached and processed. The lack of processing is what makes "green" tripe beneficial to dogs.
Hopefully, others will chime in and say for sure.

Ah, darn. Now what do I do with this... make tripe ice cream? Does that sound satisfying? Hmmm...

The best way to make raw affordable is to buy in bulk from a wholesale distributer. You will need to get a large freezer as well.

I get some raw chicken carcasses of a butcher really cheap. You can ask a butcher to give you off cuts or fat or whatever. Just feed that with the4kibble a few times a week and it does add to the diet.

Even if you get a couple of cheap chickens every week and give a part each day it is good. And try get some raw meaty bones. It will keep the dogs teeth clean and provide some nutrition.
