Default Blue Ridge Beef - Puppy Mix

Hey everyone! I'm doing a ton of research on an appropriate, yet economical, raw diet for my GSD pup that I pick up in a month. I'm looking into Blue Ridge Beef's Puppy Mix. Per the pamphlet that the rep mailed to me, this is what is in the mix...

Ground beef, ground chicken, ground green tripe, ground beef heart & liver, ground chicken bone.

Crude Protein: 16% min
Crude Fat: 12% min
Crude Fiber: 1% max
Moisture: 72% max

I don't know if this is as-fed or dry matter analysis. I have also asked about the calcium and phosphorus levels, waiting on an answer. I was told "there's never more than 10% of bone or organ in any of the mixes."

I planned on doing the mix for most of her diet, and then subbing in turkey necks, chicken legs, etc a meal or two a week while she's small.

I've done some searches for this particular mix, but couldn't find any good information on it. I apologize if I missed it and if this is a repeat question.

Thanks for any information.

We do not use the puppy mix, but the breeder's choice and tripe. It is excellent.

I use their tripe, turkey and puppy mix. On a rare occasion, I'll splurge on the rabbit but not often since it's so expensive! I don't limit the puppy mix to just puppies though, all dogs regardless of age eat the puppy mix. They all like it and everyone does well, but I don't just feed that. It's part of the variety of food I offer my dogs. On a regular basis they eat chicken, beef, turkey, fish (mostly catfish), venison, squirrel, tripe, ect. I like the puppy mix as a quick meal though that includes some of "everything", but balance comes over time and from variety. I wouldn't use it as a complete diet, you need more variety than that. Blue Ridge Beef has a great line of different proteins though, you could use it to rotate through their other foods and then add some store bought organs to mix into the varieties with no organs or bones/organs to the ones that are just meat. Tripe can be fed as a "complete" meal, no need to add anything else to it.
