Telling apart black and red from sable
|
Pretty much the day they're born.
Actually before they're born for the most part. Depends on the parents of the puppy. Black and reds typically produce black and reds. Sables typically produce sables and all blacks. |
5 minutes after birth?

You can tell immediately. In fact it's way easier to tell with newborns. Newborn black and reds are basically black.
