I was wondering what other breeders do to keep up with pups that they have placed. I have some people that I remain in contact with making sure they are getting the health checks and encouraging getting the certs done. But what do you when you can't keep up with some of them?
It has become a bit discouraging but I guess no news is good news![]() The ones that do maintain contact with the pups/dogs now are doing quite well

I used to call them all at 6 months, and if someone sounded like they really do not want to be bothered, leave it at that.
I pretty much let them contact me, and try to take time with any that do. If they call and for some reason I need to cut the call short, I always try to get ahold of them again to ensure we covered everything. Some I have gone to training with and to shows with. Some I have visited at their homes. Some, I don't hear from.
