Do you know Rebecca Little of Peakes Brook German Shepherds? She studs out CH Woodside Jubilate Eye of the Tyger CGC TC OFA H/E/C/CERF vWD neg, DM clear & MDR1 n/n and I'm pretty sure she would travel. She's a long distance from you though.

I guess it's strange that the OP has the same IP as the link Barb E posted??

It's also strange that this poster has an "almost 2 year old" female as well? If you were instrumental in educational programs, I guess I'd ask if your female will be OFA'd h/e prior to breeding?

Guess it's gonna be a strange day, but it is a full moon right??

Maybe you would get better results to your question on here

Welcome to the forum!

Though you may know alot of the information on the following sites... there have been some fairly big changes in the GSD 'world' in the past years so asking for a breeder isn't necessarily as easy as you'd think. The different looks and 'flavors' of GSD's and the health and temperament issues I think are even more key to fit what you want with what's being bred.

Things to look for in a 'Responsible' Breeder

I'll be very curious to see where you can find a quality stud for less than 500$.

Does your bitch have any ratings or titles? If not, it's going to be harder to find a quality stud. Even if you did find a stud with ratings/titles that complimented your bitch, would they stud to you? Do you meet the minimum requirements that most reputable breeders use to screen potential bitches? It's a predicament...those that have low stud fees and willing to stud to you might not be the kind of studs you would even WANT to use. But I'm sure you know that...decades of experience and all

Isn't that against board rules?

Different members from the same household could be posting from the same computer - no rules against that.

Specifically signing up with a different user name and trying to fool board members that they are a different person is against board rules.
In this case, I think we can give the OP the benefit of the doubt, but the similarity in posting style (good eye, Barb) is very odd.

I'm sure the OP will post to clear up the confusion why they are using the same computer but don't know about the dogs in the home.

I guess that is where the confusion is to me

From this OP:
If someone does not understand the season of their bitch they should not be breeding her. That is a no-brainer, wouldn't you say. There are already too many puppy mills around, ruining the breed

vs

A post from the same computer-IP-different user:
I am sort of new to this and don't know where to find a lot of info.
My bitch is almost 2 years. I am going to breed her this time around.
How many days after she comes into heat should she be bred?
Also do I have several days or is it a one day window or something?
Do I normally leave her at the kennel the stud is at? Or does it happen right away?

What am I missing?
