My pup turned 1 today. She's been restricted to leash walks for over a month and has been on an anti inflammatory for chronic tendonitis. So for her bday, she got to go run her happy a.. off at SF Ocean beach today. It's been a tiring and rewarding 10 months with her. She had a typically puppy tummy bug early on, pooped out over 40 rocks (was a pica pup), had her hind leg bit through 2x by a cattle dog at 4.5 months old and has battled intermittent front leg tendonitis that one expensive quack initially diagnosed as bilateral tfmcp. She's a powerful, driven 63 lb girl. I had knee surgery because of her and my ex suffered a broken finger requiring 2 screws trying to hang on to her. The Malinois ppl we train with love her. Well, so much for bite work since we started SAR trailing training on Monday. Hope we become a successful team.

Thanks all
Thanks all. Yes I've had my hands full and it hasn't changed all that much. Now she's an occasionally obnoxious adolescent testing boundaries almost daily. Lord grant me patience for one more year
happy birthday to yana. she's lovely. i thought my belgian sheepdog was bad at pulling and lunging as a pup. but a broken finger? wow! good luck with SAR training and many more happy years with your girl.
