Default Somebody must have been cold

She used to sleep under the blankets in bed with me... but she hasn't gotten under or stayed under a blanket in ages... Until tonight It was too adorable for words!

Yes But I could only sit on the edge and pet her. That's her couch. It's called a fainting couch. It's not that much bigger than her, and she's always hogging it She's much better about sharing the other couch

She looks so comfy. Can you imagine back when those couches were first named "fainting couch". All the ladies back then had to be able to "faint" in a lady like fashion so they invented a specific couch for them to fall on dramatically. Good thing your girl isn't dramatic, just cold!

I know. Isn't that crazy??? And wasn't it because of those corsets cutting off blood so they looked skinny? A lot of my family likes those couches. They're nice, but the history creeps me out.

Learned something new, never heard of a fainting couch. Cute picture and she does look comfortable!

Yes, I sure am glad I wasn't around back then. Those darn corsets look painful. Of course when they got cramps they got Laudanum (morphine) and maybe that's why they passed out.

And the fact that women had ribs removed in order to be able to fit into the corsets! I want to lose weight, but not like that! Your girl looks very lady like on her fainting couch!

Thanks It was so adorable to see because she never gets under blankets with me, but after the walk, dog park, and bath, she was tired and cozy.

I wouldn't mind morphine for cramps, but the rest of it isn't something I could live with, lol.
