Please be advised that taking a selfie with your GSD....

Can result in you getting b**** slapped, no pun intended lol. I was trying to get a picture of Lena and I for my aunt, and it did not go well. I guess Lena is letting me know there's only room for one diva in this photo shoot!

I thought I was the only one who was uncoordinated with my dogs... lol I have sported busted lips and the Harry Potter mark across my entire face from selfie attempts. I have given up and just take pics of the pups now... it is not worth the injury

But that is still a cute picture... lol

I think this is great advice and I might have to follow the same path LOL. The manufacturing manager at my employer has some GSD's, and he said Lena has the biggest personality he has ever come across. I don't know what that means for me, but I am sure I am going to find out, whether I want to or not

These were the last two I attempted, one resulted in landing on my face on the floor and the other was a smack on the bridge of my nose with Athena's muzzle... Hence the look of shock on my face from knowing what was coming... lol Never again...

LMAO oh nooooo that is no good at all. It's not quite that bad yet, but Lena is a big girl. She was definitely not the largest puppy in the litter, but compared to the other puppies to date, she is the largest. She weighed in at 30.3 lbs at her 3 month check up. We are going in next week so we shall see! Her mother was standard size, but her dad was about 110 lbs. She is starting to favor him much more.

How old is she? Athena (sable) at 6 mos weighed 70 pounds and Eden (black and tan) at 4.5 mos weighed 59 pounds... lol that was on August 2nd I have not weighed them since but their moms and dads were all at or over 100 pounds... so I expect them to be pretty big too..

Lena will be 4 months at the end of this month. She was 20 lbs at 8 weeks, 30 lbs at 12 weeks, so we shall see the pattern. I did express my size concerns to my vet, but she said not to worry. I am just being mindful of not overfeeding her, since I swear she is a bottomless pit. Right now I just laugh because her legs just sprouted, and she's so darn lanky right now. She will be more balanced once she fills out and matures...
