Another foster failure...meet Leo

Leo drew the short straw at his former owner's house, as they had too many dogs. For the life of me I can't imagine why anyone would get rid of him. He's amazing. He's a big boy, about 90lbs, and is nearing 7yrs old. He doesn't have to worry about getting ditched again...he's staying. Forever.

He's not posing, he's waiting for me to throw the ball

As far as I'm concerned, it's not a foster failure when you realize that a dog you saved was meant to be with you forever -- it's a foster success!

Thank you for giving an older dog a chance.

Seven is such a great age--I honestly love this phase of a dog's life where they're still young enough to chase a ball and have fun, but old enough and wise enough to be great, easy-going companions.

He's absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations to you both!!!!
