He's a natural born swimmer. The only problem with the river is that he gets a lot of sand in his fur which is difficult to get out.

Yep the dirt/sand is a pain and it stinks too! Our pup will swim like a fish in a lake but will only go on the top step of our clean chlorinated pool. :-) ugh
