Took the Dogs to the Dam for the first time. Surprisingly they all enjoyed it!

I'm hoping to get a new camera with a much faster shutter speed so I can capture something like this?
Do you know your camera's shutter speed?

All of these are around 1/1000 to 1/2000 and I always shoot wide open at f 2.8. Iso changed from 100-200 depending on my position.
