You know you are a GSD addict...

When an immediate foster is needed and the first person the SPCA happens to call is you!

This is my new foster, her name is Pearl..she came into rescue with a brother. They are both 8 years old. Their owner was involved in a DUI, went to jail, got out of jail, somehow ended up in a police chase and was shot and killed after hurting a police officer. I don't know the specifics, but it appears she took better care of her dogs than she did of herself.

I don't know much about the brother but Pearl has adjusted almost instantly. What a sweet girl, and my pack already seems to accept her. She's only staying temporarily...i imagine she will be adopted quickly.

I love her name She really is a pretty girl. By the picture she does look like she was well cared for. I'm sure she will make a lovely companion to someone.

She knows basic commands, loves to fetch, very social and not timid at all around strangers. The second she came into my house she made one pass through to sniff around and then plopped herself down in the living room as if to say "this'll do". Very nice girl! I will be a little sad to see her go.

What a beautiful girl! Looks like she's already making herself at home, though I have no doubt that she'll be adopted very quickly. She sounds like a sweetheart, and anyone would be lucky to have her

Ha, yep..I left Kafka inside while doing photos..otherwise he usually blocks all the good shots with his mane of hair.

He still managed to photobomb this shot!
