how old do you think Mya is?

How old would you estimate Mya to be? I have had her for 3.5 weeks (4 weeks this upcoming saturday). I initially fostered her but after 2 days I fell in love and the rest is history.

The gaiting picture is from approximately 1.5 weeks ago.

The rest are from this past weekend (4-5 days ago).

Are all the puppy teeth gone? That usually is a good way to gauge it, if there are still puppy teeth, then the dog is under 6 mos.

she still has puppy teeth. She has the adult "shark face" teeth... you know, the ones that their lips get stuck under sometimes...the front teeth between the canines. She is starting to lose her canines but none of the adults have come in yet. And of course none of the adult molars or premolars are in.

I'm baffled because the shelter had her at 10-12 weeks when I first pulled her (almost a month ago) and she was very underweight. 1 week later she was weighed and came in at 38 pounds...which would make one VERY large 11-13 week old! Kaiser was 27 pounds at 16 weeks, as a point of comparison. Of course, Kaiser is east german and Mya is pretty much straight am lines, to my eye that is.

5-7 months?

Here are photos of Malice at 7 months old, they look similar in height and body IMO.

I'd put her at about 20 weeks. If the canines are still in, probably at that or a bit under. Looking back at Karlo's growth stats he still had his canines at 20 weeks, he weighed 50# but was a big pup! He lost all puppy teeth at 24 weeks.

5-7 months would be my guess. Legend is 6 months on Tuesday and just has one puppy canine left. Pan also lost his last canine before he turned 7 months. Didn't keep track of Nikon's.

Wow so I was tHinking she was around 16weeks now but I suppose its possible shes older. I googled to death and couldn't Find similar dogs to compare her to. Kaiser was a chunky little monkey then had a growth spurt so he never was very lanky (aside from the difference in lines)
