dare I say these ???

I do so because of all the confusion in the positive training thread.

for all the "bite" the dog has a very shallow tentative grip on the tug
the dog has a worried eye -- does not look relaxed , does look stressed
dog looks thin

delete if you wish -- just giving my observation --

We just brought Grim home and he is in a gangly teenage phase- he is nine months. We have had him two weeks and are trying to put some weight on him.

Skadi, the tugging dog, may look worried because she is afraid her brother will try to steal the tug from her... We just had her on a diet because she gained a bit of winter weight :-) no worries, thank you for the observation

Observations are nice....and even better yet... one's thoughts on how to remedy these situations.....it's always nice to get input from many different sources....especially those who have more experience than others.

She has had a bit of a pensive way about her since she is currently on a prednisone taper and hydroxizine for some unspecified allergies we are trying to figure out. She is also on a frozen raw diet because we thought it would help the itchies. She has a bit of fur gone from her face

Red face

From Gildaf, but both dogs had Schraderhaus dams. The name on her pedigree papers is the one I put.
