Default Weird dogs...

German Shepherds sleep in the strangest positions. She will also lay on her bed with her head on the hardwood floor or pull a throw pillow off the couch, lay on the hardwood floor and put her head on the pillow. Goofy little girl!

Pretty girl. What is really weird is that the majority of them have the same mannerisms. I am already seeing traits in this one that we knew in the previous shepherds. Including laying on their beds with their heads on the floor.

When we're downstairs away from his bed, our rescue wants to be near us, so he naps on the old futon. He sometimes sleeps on his back, sometimes with his head hanging off the side, oftentimes both. GSDs are great silly sleepers at times. He does a little of the pillow thing, but not to the extent yours seems to. What a cute goofball you've got!

Both Lola and Harry like sleeping on our wooden floors as well, I assume because it is cooler.

Harry also always finds a pillow - he likes nothing better than sleeping with his head high on a pillow (he thinks he is human sometimes)

It MUST be a German Shepherd thing! But then again, would anyone expect any less from the natural born goofballs? Lol!
