My puppy Kimber

Hi I am new here an was curious if anyone could help me an tell me if my pup is a purebred German Shepherd? Ive been told by the vet she is an also what color she may turn? Thanks

She could be purebred, but I've also seen some very convincing mixes. Her face will lighten up a lot, it might actually end up being mostly tan by the time she's older.

Thank you! I have a friend that breeds purebred GSD's an he said she looks purebred an the Vet also said samthing when we got her first shots, an yeah where she's kinda a cream color she's starting to get the tan in it so i figure she will turn black an tan/redish as she grows. Again thank you!

I was kinda thinking she might turn like a Silver Sable color but this is my first GSD, and an extremely happy GSD owner lover her to death!

She looks like she will be a black and tan saddle back, depending on the camera and how much she lightens up, you might call her black and silver, but at this point it looks black and tan. I don't see sable.

Thanks for all y'alls help im hoping she either turns out black an tan or black an silver would be fine either way love my first GSD! She's great with my 3 year old twins I have when there sleeping she lays right by their feet she's great, also about when do there ears usually start to stand straight up? She is almost 8 weeks. Thanks

I forgot to mention this, but me an my wife think it's cute cause if someone takes her when she's outside even though we watch her an play with her all the time but there are times where she's alone for just a few to use the restroom or what not but if she ever came up missing an we think its cute but we would be able to find her pretty quick cause she has an extra toe on her right back foot/paw.
