Zoe-GSD mix

Hi all,

Here's pictures of my newest baby, Zoe! She is 5 months old and I adopted her from Love Wanted Pet Adoptions. All North Shore said was she is some kind of GSD mix, which seems to be the consensus. My boyfriend, the vet, my friends, and even the guy at the local pet store where I get my food for the pups think GSD with maybe Doberman or Min-Pin and possibly Beagle. Heck, half the fun of owning a mutt is guessing their pedigree, although I'd love to know what everyone else thinks about what her mix is.

So, here's my Zoe-belle from when I first brought her home in October until now!

I see Doberman, from the color of the fur. Maybe with the ears cropped (not suggesting doing that) she'd look even more Dobie. It's tough, could be so many options.

Oh yes, there's definitely Doberman in her--she reminds me of my neighbor's Doberman/Shepherd mix Roxy. Different coloring and Roxy's ears perk, but they have similar fur texture and facial features. Ironic, given the fact that I adore Roxy and always said that I wanted a dog like her…guess I got one, haha!

She's got a blend of the GSD and Doberman personality too. When people refer to GSD puppies as "land sharks," they weren't kidding! I love my puppy, but wow. Total 180 compared to my Bichon when she was teething.

She looks so happy to have you in the first pic! I definitely see the Doberman though.

Andy-haha, she does! Can't blame her though, she was stuck in a shelter probably for most of her life. I'd be thrilled to get out of those conditions too if I was her.

And yea, she's got the Doberman coloring and it's very strong in pictures. She also has similar shading to some of the GSDs I've seen too. I love her coloring, it's such a nice blend of the two breeds.

Here's another picture that shows off the highlights and shading in her fur. Zoe's standing guard over my bed, hahahaha!

Awww, thank you Sarah. Yep, she's a very happy pup. Really friendly too, which is a complete 180 from my Bichon who side-eyes everyone she meets, haha.

The NYC pack:
Zoe: German Shepherd/Doberman/Beagle mix. Also known as the baby direwolf.

Esme: Bichon Frise. Also known as the fluff pup.
